Jersey City barber shot in the leg by armed robber: cops

Officials said yesterday a Jersey City barber was shot in the leg by an armed robber Wednesday night after he refused to turn over money to an assailant, The Jersey Journal reports.

When officers responded to the Grand Street home of the 44-year-old victim, he said he was leaving his Monticello Avenue shop at 10:42 p.m. when a robber trained a handgun on him and said, ?Give it up,? police reports said.
