Published: Tuesday, April 24, 2012, 12:21 PM Updated: Tuesday, April 24, 2012, 12:25 PM By Michaelangelo Conte/The Jersey Journal A Jersey City man will make his first appearance today on charges he cleaned out a North Bergen woman's wallet in a Jersey City store and then pushed her when she followed him to his van, officials said. Kenneth Lamont Knight, 21, of Bergen Avenue, was arrested on Chapel Avenue after the 12:19 a.m. incident on Kennedy Boulevard and he was charged with robbery, police reports said. Officers responding to the store near Gates Avenue spoke to the 25-year-old victim who said she was buying cigarettes and left her wallet on the counter when she went to grab a beverage, reports said.
