Boy, 13, nabbed in stolen car

A 20-year-old man and 13-year-old boy were charged with burglary and theft after they were busted Saturday night in a stolen car in Downtown Jersey City, police reports said.

Juan Aguero, 20, of Fourth Street, who was driving the vehicle, was also issued a summons for failing to produce a driver?s license, reports said.

Around 10:50 p.m., the 24-year-old owner of the stolen Toyota Corolla told cops at the East District precinct that the vehicle had been stolen near her job on Washington Street near Second Street, reports said.

As the victim was making the report, a friend who was looking for the car called her to say she spotted someone driving the Toyota at Jersey Avenue and Third Street, reports said.

Police went to the area, pulled the vehicle over on Third Street, and arrested Aguero and the Neptune Avenue boy, reports said.

Aguero was taken to the Hudson County jail in Kearny and the child was returned to his parents, reports said.
