Jersey City Council to vote on $2.3 million for police body cams, $515K for comfortable uniformsThe Jersey City City Council is expected Wednesday night to approve several funding resolutions for the Department of Public Safety, including one that provides $2.3 million for new body cameras. The resolution calls for the purchase of 1,120 police body cameras, along with a five-year service plan for a total of $2,277,878.
