As of Sunday afternoon the west bound traffic on the extension bridge is still backed up. Sometimes they finish before the posted end time of 5 am Monday.

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority advises of weekend deck repairs on the Hudson County Extension in both directions scheduled from Friday night, September 22nd, until Monday morning, September 25th; ?Eastbound between Interchange 14C and Jersey Avenue (Jersey City), only one lane will be open from 8 p.m., Friday night until 5 a.m., Monday morning. ?Westbound between Interchange 14B (Liberty State Park ? Jersey City) and Interchange 14 (Newark) only one lane will be open, from 9 p.m., Friday, until 5 a.m., Monday. - looks like rt 440 going toward Communipaw is already a mess because of drivers trying to avoid the stand still traffic going west on the bridge.
