We saw most of them in attendance on Thursday evening at Fulop's 6th State of the City Ward B Speech-a-Thon.

And a free, science-focused traditional school. Or, maybe it will be a charter school? Or, we don't really know? It's all so confusing. Luckily, the bike lanes are properly laid out in an interconnecting grid that gets you places you need to go.

How about you shit on where it's appropriate and call out JCPD for doing a piss poor job? It is their responsibility to protect and serve this city. The only time I see JCPD in Lafayette is when double parked (blocking the bicycle lane ) in front of Chico's or taking a nap on Manning & Maple.

There are way too many cops in JC that live in the suburbs, put in their 20, and cash out. Majority of them give two shits whether or not residents in Jersey City are being shot on daily basis.

it turns my stomach that the police department eats up ~20% of the city budget with this record.

What excuse is Fulop going to use for this act of violence?
He blamed the last murder on bail reform. Maybe his propaganda
minister Jen Morill will come up with something better.

After she [Ms. Mor__ ] is done calling Child Protective Services ?? OOPS...getting confused trying to keep up, Victim being over 18yrs. old doesn't Qualify.

There is always the Old Standby of Warmer than Usual WEATHER Conditions ....

OtherWise Engaged hasn't been claimed yet.

Pretty certain DYFS was contacted because one of the shooting victims was 13 and both were certainly under 18.

And hey, when you get a sec: recognizing proper nouns

They need to address the gang problem. We are currently at 36 shooting victims (I am only counting victims, actual shootings are 40+) with 2 days left in March. Previous years have averaged 22/23 victims January to April. At this pace we might double that before hitting May and shootings already have been up the last couple years in a row.

These mini gang wars have been popping up more and more frequently, those involved have been getting younger and the time the shootings occur have been getting earlier with less time passing between retaliation. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has noticed this.

JERSEY CITY -- A man was fatally shot on Van Horne Street Wednesday evening near a city elementary school, sources say.

The victim, who is believed to be in his 20s, was shot multiple times between Lafayette and Maple Streets just before 6 p.m. He was brought to Jersey City Medical Center were he was pronounced dead, sources said.

A spokesman for the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office confirmed the department is investigating a fatal shooting.

This is the second daylight fatal shooting in Jersey City in less than 36 hours.
Just before noon on Tuesday, 19-year-old DaJour Riley was shot multiple times on Union Street near Garfield Avenue. He died about three hours later at the hospital, authorities said.

The fatal shootings also come on the heels of a violent weekend in Jersey City, with five people shot in 36 hours. Police arrested eight men and recovered five guns.
