The shootings come on the heels of at least two other shootings in the past week and two days after four guns were recovered during a busted gang meetup at Marion Gardens.
When asked if the shootings were related or stemming from gang feuds, Morrill responded in an email that "several arrests were made and guns recovered by the police." Gang membership should be illegal and members should be treated as terrorists.

It was a warm day out. There's a strong correlation between weather and number of shootings. Nice weather brings characters out, characters get into scuffles. Guns go off. Some pretty interesting articles on the phenomenon in Chicago.
