Victim in fatal Jersey City shooting identified: officials By Summer Dawn Hortillosa / The Jersey Journal on July 04, 2014 at 12:29 PM, updated July 04, 2014 at 1:28 PM The man shot last night on Lembeck Avenue in Jersey City has been identified, officials said. Jersey City police reported to the corner of Lembeck and Ocean avenues around 7:25 p.m. last night on a report of shots fired, Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Gene Rubino said.
