The search for a Cranford woman who authorities say was killed by her boyfriend earlier this week is continuing this afternoon at Liberty State Park in Jersey City. Law enforcement officials wearing bright yellow and orange jackets were seen walking along Edward Hart Drive. One official stopped to peer into a large garbage container on the side of the road, without any luck. Matthew Ballister, 43, has been charged with killing April Wyckoff, a mother of two who was also 43. Ballister remains in the Union County jail on $2 million bail on the murder charge, the Star-Ledger reported. Ballister's mother, 70-year-old Eleanor Schofield of Mountainside, has also been charged. "That is part of the search area," Union County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Mark Spivey told the Star-Ledger this morning about Liberty State Park. Read More
