Jersey City resident uncooperative with police after being shot in leg: cops

A Jersey City resident who was shot yesterday afternoon was uncooperative with police who were trying to investigate the shooting, police said.

Police met with the victim, 26, of Astor Place in Jersey City, at Jersey City Medical Center yesterday afternoon after he was shot in the right leg, reports state. The man told police that in the area of Bergen and Kearney avenues, an unknown man with short hair and a dark colored hoodie shot him and fled in an unknown direction, police said.
