Car nearly plunges off cliff in Jersey City By The Jersey Journal on November 13, 2012 at 9:22 PM A car maneuvering in a parking lot near Journal Square nearly went off a cliff onto train tracks this evening. The incident took place at Cottage street and Herbert Place, according to news photographer Joe Shine. Firefighters responded to the scene and pulled the vehicle back onto the road. The driver self-extricated, officials said. No other information was immediately available.
