A bomb threat has been called into the Hudson County Administration building on Newark Avenue in Jersey City, a police spokesman confirmed this morning.
The Sheriff's Office did not provide any information on the bomb threat, but a source with knowledge of the incident said that the Sheriff's officers are doing sweeps of the building, as well as sweeps of the old Brennan Courthouse next door on Newark Avenue.
The Hudson County Administration building houses the criminal, family and other courts, as well as county offices, including the offices of the Hudson County prosecutor.
