Bayonne man charged with stabbing Jersey City man during an argument New Year's Day Monday, January 03, 2011 A 31-year-old Bayonne man was arrested after stabbing a Jersey City man during an argument New Year's Day, Jersey City police said. Police responding to the stabbing on River Court in the Newport section of Jersey City at 2:47 a.m. Saturday found a 35-year-old victim with multiple stab wounds to the ear and neck in the hallway of the sixth floor, reports said. The victim, who was treated for non-life threatening wounds at the Jersey City Medical Center, refused to cooperate with police, reports said. Leonard Willis, 31, of Broadway in Bayonne, told cops he stabbed the victim in self defense during an argument because he was punched and choked, reports said. JJ piece
