This Santa managed to make the Grinch look like a nice guy.
A man wearing a Santa hat and about a dozen other men robbed two Jersey City men of $450 in cash and jewelry and smashed one of them in the face with a gun early Friday morning.
The incident took place at about 12:45 a.m. when a 19-year-old driver and his 25-year-old passenger stopped their Jeep at a red light at the corner of Fulton and Ocean avenues. The Jeep was surrounded by between 10 and 15 men, including two who aimed guns through the two side windows.
The two gunmen then reached through the windows, which were open, and grabbed the men's gold chains. Then they demanded money and one of the gunmen hit the driver in the face with his gun. Both men gave up their money: the driver lost $150 and the passenger lost $300.
