Low key fun place to hang out could have quickly become complete mayhem had it not been for their proactive bouncers who protected us against a band of gypsies that showed up and tried to thieve our IPads from our kids. It was the atmosphere that made us feel comfortable enough to bring our kids there that saved us. Hats off to the security there! 5 more minutes and the S.C.U.M. (as their boat was titled) would have been off with our IPads and who knows maybe a kid. Crazy but just sayin. Surf City is and was great! Just a shame our beautiful night had to be ruined by an ugly confrontation. Luv u JC!
