I also recommened that you NOT go to Dr. Milman on Grand...My hubby went there for a cleaning...There was no hygienist and the doctor did a 5 minute cleaning....Not thorough at all...Also, the girl at the front desk misled my husband into thinking that the office took his insurance when in reality they did not participate with his insurance plan.

The East Hampton building is loaded with roaches...I rented there for 2 years without seeing a single roach...But, towards the last 2 months of my lease, 5 other apartments had emptied out on my floor and the roaches started coming....It was disgusting...I contacted management, including Vienna Timmins, and they did nothing to help rectify the problem....In fact, they wanted to increase my rent another 5% if I were to renew my lease....I was already paying over 2 grand a month to live there...I immediately moved out and I'm so glad I did...I hate Newport! Those buildings are not well maintained at all!

I am sick of seeing prostitutes in Jersey City along Route 1 & 9 near the Starlite Motel. It is disgusting seeing the girls in skimpy clothes hanging around and waiting to be approached. I drive quite a bit and I can't believe I see this on a regular basis!!! Our city really needs to be cleaned up!!

My husband and I had dinner at Amiya for the first time this past weekend. We ordered from the pre-fixe menu for restaurant week. I must say that we were very disappointed with the extremely slow and poor service. I ordered palak paneer for my entree and it was cold when it was served. I never usually complain at restaurants but had to send it back. When it came back to my table, it was cold once again. Not only that, but the waiter never once came to check on how we were doing. We also had to request twice for our water to be refilled and waited about 20 minutes before it was finally refilled. Needless to say, I won't be dining there again.

Hey does anyone have any contractor recommendations to refinish my hardwood floors? Also, I was considering Conquer Hardwood Floors. Has anyone ever used them?

Have u tried biking to Liberty State Park? There is a small pathway on Jersey Ave. which crosses the river and leads directly to the park. It's pretty nice over there.

What is everyone's current opinion on the Jersey City housing market? Do you think it has bottomed? What type of percentage decline in condo prices do you think has occurred from 2007/2008 until now? I would guess at least 10%. Do you think prices will continue to decline?

The tax abatement ends this year I believe.

Does anyone know anything about the condos in Morgan Lighthouse? Good? Bad?
