I'm looking for a 1 bedroom apt in the downtown area. I'll take the smallest place in the world. Can only afford $650 with utilities. Please let me know if you know of anything.

Thanks

I'm interested in knowing how and where I can sign up for subsidized housing in the powerhouse arts district of jersey city. I'm a current resident looking but looking for a cheaper place than where I am now.

Thanks

I've been wondering about that place too! It's sometimes open and sometimes not open, it sometimes has retail in it and sometimes not.

It does look like an awesome place to have some art events though. If it were ever open long enough to speak to the proprietor.

Thank you all! I found the owners! Now I have to figure out what to do about this decrepit house. I wonder how much you can buy a house off of someone for who hasn't taken care of it in over 15 years?!

I can't seem to be able to search on there properly, there are specific numbers given to blocks and lots which are not listed as a simple address. Can anyone help me with that?

THanks

Abandoned house next door to mine

I have a house that's been abandoned for 15 years next door to mine.

How can I find who the owner is?

How can I buy it off them?

I heard it belongs to a woman in a nursing home. It needs to be gutted, as I can see windows broken and plants growing out of them, but if I can make them a deal and take it off their plate, to benefit the area and make me a beautiful home in downtown jersey city.

Please Help.
Thanks
M

I have soo many used clothing items to sell and I would like to know how I can be a vendor There's a ton of them around town, especially in the spring and summer. I need to sell my things, they are taking up way too much space in my tiny jersey city closet.

How can I go about doing so? Who should I contact?

Thanks

PEOPLE NOT CURBING THEIR DOGS!!!

It's such a ridiculous problem. I live on 5th b/w monmouth and brunswick and there is always DOG SHIT pretty much on every block up to the Grove Street Path.

It's completely careless, rude, disgusting and disrespectful to the community. I mean does it really kill anyone to just bend down and scoop it up. I want to do something about this because if people can't be responsible neighbors then they shouldn't live in a nice place, and it's the community's disregard of this matter that makes neighborhoods UGLY, turning them into ghetto's.

Seriously the property values are way too inflated in the neighborhood to walk outside and step on dog shit. I've seen individual owners take matters into their own hands, but as a whole the community isn't doing anything at all!

Action needs to be taken ASAP!
