Throughout February, the students of Frank R. Conwell School PS3 created Playground Inspiration posters as part of the PS3 Project PLAY Playground Revitalization Initiative.

Each depicts what students would like to see in a newly renovated playground. Support these budding Jean-Michel Basquiats, Mary Cassatts, and Keith Harings by voting for your favorite poster!

?Like? the PS3 Project PLAY Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/ps3projectplay) and then vote by liking your favorite posters. The 1st place classrooms in 4 categories will win $100 gift certificates for supplies. The 2nd place classrooms will win $25 gift certificates.

And share the news! Read more about the project at www.ps3projectplay.com.

Thanks all!

Signed and shared...

I also want to clarify for everyone that this is a very small, but vocal minority at Grove Pointe that want this shut down (I?ve spoken to the HDSID first hand about it). Based on my observations and conversations with neighbors, the building generally supports these events. I will do my best to help the majority become more vocal, so we keep this community space great!

Ok, so i was going overboard thinking I'd give everyone a little something...good to know!

I like the pooling the $ idea...not that I'd want to coordinate it ;)

Thanks!

Holiday Tipping

I apologize if this is a dup post--I searched "tipping" and didn't get anything relevant.

This is my first holiday in an apartment building and am looking for advice. I already checked out http://www.emilypost.com/everyday/holiday_tipping.htm and http://www.findalink.net/tippingetiquette.php ...but they give very large ranges, ie $15-80 for doorman.

My building has 4 regular doormen, plus two fill-ins, 7 people in housekeeping and 4 in maintenance. I don't want to be a scrooge, but that's a lot of tipping--and I've never met more than half of the staff. Thoughts?

Thanks!
