I am really curious to see what happens in 2012 when Menedez runs for re-election. Assuming that Healthcare is passed and people are paying taxes on their healthcare benefits as well as higher state taxes to pay for the expansion of medicaid, I will be really curious to see how the middle class votes. While Nelson got his "Cornhusker Kickback",Landrau got the "louisiana Purchase", Dodd got $100 million for Ct to build a hospital, what did Menedez get for NJ. Is he just a yes man and doesn't care about his state residents. Ct, NY, Mass, and Pa. all got deals also While not as large as Louisiana's $300 million or Nebraska's exemption from paying any mediaid expansion for his state residents,, our senators got nothing. NADA. Should make for great campaign ads when people are paying higher taxes. Money talks bullshit walks

Racism is quite human. It is part of the American experience. The current President Obama has statements about police that many police perceived as racist. The prior two Presidents have supported policies that were racist in nature.

I can go one and on but you get the picture. Just think it it this way. When a Marlin gets caught on the end of a line he doesn't care if a black man or a white man is on the other end of the fishing pole. Either way he is going to fight until he gets pulled into the boat for the vacation photo.

I always so the Krave Truck in the parking lot across the street from City Hall. My question is if he keeps the truck in there where the hell does he clean it. It should be cleaned everyday. If it isn't being cleaned the health department should shut him down.

Putting new cops on the street will not deter crime as long as Hudson County judges keep giving probation to criminals

Working for the Jersey City Parking Authority is the equivalent of working for a Midwestern Bank in Iowa that was stealing the farmland from Americans in the 1980's. These people should be embarassed. I have more respect for criminals who steal to support their drug habit. At least they have an excuse. What are these people's excuse for stealing money from city residents.

WOW. That is a lot of money to feed a few cats and dogs.
I still don't so why the city is increasing the budget when they have budget issues. LHS was not looking for money money. The City Council just seems to have a hardon for spending money
