I'm a freelancer and I've realized lately that I need to get out of the house to actually get any work done. I'm looking into renting either a desk in a shared space or a small office somewhere within biking/walking distance of the Grove street PATH.

I've been scouring Craigslist, but are there other places I should be looking?

I was excited for this place at first - nice looking patio and I'm all about tapas and wine. But now months later they still are not serving food regularly, and every time I go in there the service is abominable. I'm generally pretty patient with bartenders, but on more than one occasion I've been completely ignored by the woman behind the bar when there were literally fewer than 5 people in the room.

One of my friends has already written the place off after similar experiences. I'm hoping they find some decent bartenders once they're fully open.

I've noticed there are a ton of empty storefronts on Newark Ave. I'm doing some research now and looking for a place with a lot of street traffic to host a one day event for a non profit group.

I plan on calling up the numbers posted on the "for lease" signs, but any suggestions on how to get in touch with folks who might be amenable to lending out their space for a day would be appreciated. There may or may not be the possibility of a tax credit if they were to donate the space, I'm still looking into that.
