Dont suppose you know how the general public would go about using the field at a certain time? Or is first come first serve?

Does anybody know who the football field on Grand and Merceles belongs to? I thought it was part of the Schomborg Charter School but that is apparently not the case.

Ultimately, I'm trying to determine if this is available to the public.

Any info much appreciated.

Thanks
Paul

Hi there,

My wife and I are coming up to our one year anniversary and I would like to surprise her with a photograph shoot, hopefully in a local place with a studio.

Just the 2 of us, you know, the usual couple in casual clothes posing and having fun on a contemporary background. Looking to get some decent developing done as well.

Any recommendations?

That's Shelia's.

Also add Latin Lounge and Maria's (aka New Music Box).

Franky, if you want stronger games or don't dig latin music, Hoboken is best. Louis and Jerry's and Willow Billiards are good places to start.

Sweet, Im actuall in the process of moving real close to the Latin Lounge so that will be handy for a game or 2. Does anyone know what its like in there, Im assuming a lot of Latino's?

Hudson Park Hoboken - Is that a 5-a-side soccer pitch I can see from google maps satelite view?

Hey there,

Can anyone tell me if they play soccer in Hudson Park in Hoboken please? I cant find any info on it on the web but when you look at the baseball diamond area in google maps, they satelite image also shows that they have painted in the lines for soccer and added goals. A kind of multi purpose space I guess.

If anybody knows people that play there, please can you pass on the info?

Also, In general, I'm looking for somewhere to start up a regular casual soccer game in Jersey City/Hoboken. I know there are a couple of groups out there but I want to stay away from costly leagues, but at the same time dont want to play on just a patch of grass with small inflatable goals.

I guess what Im looking for is an indoor or outdoor space with decent soccer goals that JC residents can either use, or gain a permit to use on a regular basis.

Oh, my name is Paul by the way, originally from the UK, and for any Brits out there, I'm trying to replicate the "5-a-side football" institution that I grew up playing and loving.

Hopefully somebody can help.

Cheers
Paul
