Has anyone else tried the new bike rental service Easyriders? My family and a few friends rented bicycles last weekend and it was awesome. So much better than buying our own (and having to store) bicycles. They had all the safety equipment, were priced pretty cheaply and we had a great day out!
They also offered tours to to Liberty State Park, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island with guide to tell you all about historical facts and details about our awesome (albeit corrupt politically...) city. My son and a couple friends actually want to take a tour and go see Statue, etc. and who wouldn't be thrilled about any kid who actually wants to learn. My son is just 14 and I have let him pretty much go where he feels comfortable walking as long as his cell is on and gets answered since he was 10. After meeting the guys at Easyriders, I'm sure I can trust that he'll be safe on their tour. I'll definitely post a follow-up and let any interested parents know how it goes. Peace!

wow...so much flack for suggesting Vega might not be guilty- guilty, just guilty of politics as usual in jc or anywhere. does that make it right? NO, of course not. I was just suggesting the possibility that he wasn't bribed so much as regular "back-scratching" that goes on between everyone from friends to neighbors to ANY business employing cross-promotion marketing. nothing is free in this world on every level of "society".
Peace!

I don't believe that M. Vega took that tiny check as a bribe...why would he ruin his career or shot at being mayor for that? I think he's caught up in a misunderstanding...or at least pray he is. A check can be traced...if it were one of the "bribes" wouldn't it have been in cash like the rest?
Just answering "in good hands" with "like Allstate" could mean anything...basically a "joke".
