I heard the pool will be open in 3 weeks. No ETA on the parking garage.

Question for everyone in 30 Regent.

Is anyone having mail issues ?

I haven't received mail in like 2 weeks and random people are handing me my mail which tells me the mailman isn't the brightest bulb in the pack. I already filled out the forward address form with the post office awhile ago so I know that's not the issue.

I never thought I'd be happy just to see a bill.

Sports Bars in JC

Just moved to JC about a month ago. Looking for a good sports bar to watch NFL ticket, NBA games, etc.

Good food is a must (wings, burgers, you know the usual bar food).

Any recommendations ???

Not sure about negotiating the rent but I think they will be full by mid-fall. Think about it. All they have to do is pre lease all the remaining units, just like they did with us 2 months ago, and they will be full.

Hopefully the tenants that end up doing this won't experience brain damage from dealing with PM.

Ok, so I've been in the Regent for about a week now and this is what I've noticed :

- I've gotten more things done through PM by speaking with Debbie in the office. By speaking with her, I've gotten my washer/dryer, blinds, and other questions i had all in one day. Anyone who has dealt with PM knows that this is definitely unheard of ! Coincedently, she's the only one who speaks clear english.

- Parking in the Sutton is $175 and will be $200 in the Regent when that's done. Haven't heard about the outside parking though.

- Construction is not as big of an issue as it was when I first moved in. Hopefully the lobby will be done in 2 weeks like PM anticipate. Heard today that the earliest the pool/gym will be done is Mid August.

I'm interested in knowing if anyone has experienced damage to either your furniture or apartment due to the construction workers moving your stuff in ? I've experienced both and I'm currently in the process of having PM address this.

I finally moved in myself last night after hounding PM. The actual apartments are ready but just like HobokenRefugee pointed out about half constructed buildings, other things like the hallways and lobbies aren't completed so you still feel like your living in a construction zone. They say everything should be completed within the next 2 weeks but I wouldn't hold your breath, that is unless your trying to not breathe in the construction dust.

I'm interested in knowing if anyone is having issues with getting a straight answer on when the Regent at Liberty Harbor is going to be open ?

The management keeps saying the apartments are completed and are blaming the delays on the city inspector but I'm questioning this based on talking to the construction workers and actually walking around the building.

I also heard from a couple of people that their management waited until the last minute (like the day before tenants were suppose to move in) to tell them that the building wasn't completed.

I definitely feel like I'm getting the run around and considering I'm suppose to be moving into this building, I'm starting to get a bad feeling on how their management is going to be in the future.
