I have been living in this area for 12 years. I recommend you look into the people that live here the longest. They greet you with happy faces but if your not with them in their ventures to destroy business they are welcoming you with a big nice smile and on your door a sign saying go away spics....so no this wouldnt be a nice place to raise your children ;)
