I was in the bike shop yesterday and they fit me right in and Tony fixed my son's bike in 2 minutes, only charged me $5...It helped to have purchased the bike there (still had the Grove St. Bikes sticker on it). Thanks, Tony!!!!!

There is a Halloween Parade from 2-4 PM in Hamilton Park Square. I believe the sign said parade starts promptly at 2:15. Other festivities following.

I spoke to Jessie last week. They are opening her store front in April '10. She is currently baking and taking orders. Her # is: 201-830-3430. I hear she is busy for Valentine's Day!

Thoughts on Wells-Fargo

We are on the waterfront now but we are considering purchasing a loft in Wells-Fargo. We were curious of any feedback (Good/Bad) on this building. How is the management? How is the neighborhood (it seems great!) etc. Many thanks for any insight you can share.

PS- The property we were looking at is 133 Brunswick on the corner of 3rd. It is a brand-new corner duplex condo on the ground and first floor. It is a mix of brownstone/ townhouse/mediterranean, very beautiful. It is a very affordable price as well.

I want to thank everybody for taking the time to respond so quickly to my request on this neighborhood. Many of you live in and like this neighborhood, you have answered my questions and I am a whole lot more "in the know." You were extremely detailed and thoughtful in your responses. There are mixed thoughts on the topic, and that is ok.

I enjoyed your humor, too. Thank you immensely!

Question on Safety of Brunswick Btwn 2/3rd

Hi,

We checked out an amazing condo today on Brunswick btwn 2nd & 3rd St. today. I am curious, does anybody have any thoughts on the safety of this neighborhood? I love the hood, my husband is more cautious.

We have two young children (5 & 2 yrs). We currently live in the waterfront, which I consider safe, although, let's not kid ourselves, nobody is ever truly safe, right?, esp with the shooting yesterday near Hamilton Park. Many thanks for any feedback and opinions on this hood.

Anne
