Re: Computer Repair in JC

Don't go to Repair Stop in JC! They took forever to fix my laptop, which then died again a couple weeks later. They wouldn't even try to make it right without charging me for the new labor. They also wanted $75 to install a bootleg copy of Windows 7. Total BS!

I got a good repair once from a guy named Dave who I found here, but I can't seem to locate his info again. Anyone know him?

I agree about the kids. When I was a kid, my parents always made me give my seat up to adults.

Ditto. My mom would yell at me for not getting up. Either the kid is small enough to sit on your lap or big enough to stand.

Also, I worked with an Indian immigrant who didn't wear deodorant and honestly had no idea that it was a problem. She was really embarrassed when her boss finally had to have a talk with her about it. So if the stink is really bugging you, say something -- the offender probably has no clue.

These actually make really good nightshirts. I got one for a dollar on Newark Ave -- after a couple of washings, it's quite comfy!

Unattractive, but comfy.

Are you serious? Yeah, the PATH could be better and costs too much, but the subway is SO much worse. I changed jobs partly so I could work within walking distance of a PATH station and wouldn't have to fight for my life on the subway anymore.

The new cars on the subway are great (I lived on the 6 line when they still had the old red ones), but they don't make up for the overcrowding, constant delays, and frequent breakdowns.
