You may want to be sure that you're not getting snowballed here on this forum or even when you decide to meet those in charge. The truth is that an overwhelming majority of houses throughout JC's historic districts have some "violations."
My understanding is that you cannot be MADE to correct anything simply because you're buying the house. It's only IF you decide to undertake improvements, that it then must be according to Historical Office's guidelines. At least this is my clear understanding from the neighbors on both sides of me, who have not been shy about "counter-offering" Wreiden with reasonable corrections, and have been pretty successful at doing it from what I've seen. It can be intimidating, but you as the homeowner have far greater rights (and a much greater vote) then they would lead you to believe.

It's a sorry state of affairs, but it's obvious that Hamilton Park has become over-run with selfish, self-absorbed, run-off at the mouth people. Oh, and by the way.....I'm in Van Vorst, dickweed......not Hamilton Park, so shut your piehole.

Well, well.......it sounds like the pot is calling the kettle black. In any case, numbnuts, you can ignore my question, and I invite others to answer it if they know -- what are Steve Gucciardo's qualifications to be chairing the commission? Unless, of course, that was Steve himself with the previous vitriolic reply.

I've been meaning to ask.....what are exactly are Steve Gucciardo's qualifications to be chairing this commission?
A person at one of our meetings actually brought up a superb point ---- essentially, as much of an arrogant pain in the ass as Dan is, and as marginally qualified as he is, he is probably the MOST qualified out of all of them (a very frightening reality, indeed). So again I ask, what are Steve Gucciardo's qualifications?
