And GrovePath, a YELP review was a good idea. It's probably the best way to get a business to take notice and make others aware. I went ahead and posted, making it clear that I didn't use their actual services.

I might also called them tomorrow to drive the point home. It was really outrageous and disturbing behavior to me, and I want them to know that.

I know the volume of cars and the parking situation downtown elicits strong opinions, but I didn't mean for that to be the point of the thread and am hoping the original intent isn't lost.

The J&J guy was way out of bounds yelling those slurs in the streets of this neighborhood. I was thinking that might matter to some people when choosing which company you want to do business with.

This morning, I witnessed an incident between J&J Mechanical Contractors and another guy on Mercer St. A needless argument over a parking space after the street sweeper passed...but the J&J guy was yelling and calling the other guy a n**ger and a f**got and was escalating in aggression and pushing for a fight. The other guy, dressed in a suit, didn't take the bait and eventually walked away.

I know nothing of the quality of J&J's work but wanted to give an FYI that this racist a**hole could show up at your door if you hire them.

I have a similar situation, foshizigity. I have a rescue kitty that absolutely cannot be dropped off at a groomers waiting in a kennel. She's so afraid, so goes into shock or gets violent.

I highly recommend Aussie Pet Mobile. They have a mobile grooming van, with full washing and grooming services. They'll park by your house, (or as close as they can get to it in downtown JC), pick up your pet, service them right away and bring them back to your door. I'm thinking about getting my real estate license. I wouldn't depend on it for my primary income, but surely there's SOME money still in it...no? I'd mostly be interested in sales, but wouldn't rule out rentals.

I love looking at houses and discussing their features. I'm a good listener and can key into what people really want.
