I rarely agree with politicians but i think its a good idea. Cops dont do anything to curb the situation because they get labeled as racist and profilers. Most of these profiles are correct but their hands are tied or they are just to lazy to fill out the paperwork. Im a hispanic and I would like nothing better than for the national guard to patrol the streets to get the criminal element off of it. I would like be able to walk down any street without running into a bunch of loser gang members who prey on the weak. Cowards

They should have never torn down Lafayette PJs. Sure, it wasnt a good area but at least it wasnt concentrated in one place. All the element from there moved to Booker T. and there was always a lot of bad blood between them

Hello All ,Wayne st. has always been a problem street all my life and im a lifelong jc downtown resident. It seems to have gotten worse from what i read on this board. I beleive the main problem is that little park in the middle of the block. They should lock it up after a certain time or build a small precinct like they did in Newport Mall.
