Not sure if I am too late to this posting? I recently started looking around for a place in Van Vorst Park area hence starting doing research and see what I find. This sounds a little scary. Is the neighborhood still as bad as this?

Where about are you, anywhere near the Grove PATH station? I would suggest organize some sort of neighborhood watch group. Find groupd of people who care about the neighborhood they live in and do night watch and alert?
