I'm moving out of JC! Not originally because of the crime increase, but it definitely doesn't make me question my decision to leave.

I'll be moving this weekend if I survive til then!

USED to be HP Pizza! Not anymore. They switched owners sometime last year and the pizza hasn't been the same. I've ordered a couple more times but it was not as good. I always got the Frankie 5, but now for that price it's not worth it. For me, it's all about the crust.

Now I just settle for the buono appititti place and just stick to cheese and pepperoni.

The office tower will be 30 stories high with 573 parking spaces.

The project will produce 274 construction jobs for Jersey City residents. There will be 3,811 jobs during construction.

When the building is finished, 413 of Goldman Sachs' 3,496 permanent jobs at 50 Hudson St. will be local residents.

So that means only 7% of the construction force will come from JC, and only 11% of the people working in the building will be from JC? That sucks.

AND if the building will have 89% of it's staff coming in from out of town, but only has enough parking for 16% of the employees, how in the hell are these people going to get to work?

But more importantly, why don't they want us working there?

When businesses come to town and set up shop, isn't the cities' "softening" of the rules due to the company bringing jobs to residents, economic development, etc.? If we're not getting anything for this new tower but more congested public transportation, then why bend the rules for them?

I guess all we can hope for is that he gets his first DUI before he can hurt anyone again.

what happened to the good old days where kids just tortured little animals and grew up to be serial killers?

I was thinking the same thing!

This kid thinks blunt force trauma to the head with a brick is fun? I think it's attempted murder.

Imagine what this kid will think is fun when he's 20 or 30.

Path Train Fantastic 4 Advertisement?

I don't know if I was seeing things or not on the path train, but in Manhattan, somewhere between the christopher and 23rd stations I swear I saw a video clip of the Fantastic 4 trailer OUTSIDE the train, on the wall or something.

It was weird as hell, because on friday night I got a little too drunk in the village, and on my way back to grove st I was leaning against the doors of the train, and all of the sudden out of the corner of my eye I see sparks everywhere and a loud ass grinding noise. I guess the train hit the wall of the tunnel. Freaked the shit out of me.

Anyway, I thought the same thing was happening the next day (except on the opposite side of the train) when I saw a flash of light that looked like it was coming from the walls, but no grinding. Similar to the sparks I saw the night before. But then I realized that I could see the manhattan skyline out the side of the train in the background, and the sparks I thought I saw was actually the silver surfer (from the new movie), and he was flying next to the train. It was crazy.

Then there were some quick flashes of Jessica Alba and the other two dudes and the rock guy from the movie. And then it just said "RISE" in big letters, and then nothing.

I thought I was going crazy for a minute. I looked around and NOBODY saw it. It was so cool. I just don't know how the hell they did that.

A long video screen I guess? Seems a little expensive for something that apparently NO ONE notices. But very cool none the less.

Anyone else seen this thing?
