the construction on wayne and barrow is a mess. they don't have a fence up on one of the sides of the lot. when i asked the contractors about this, they said it would be taken care of. i said it was dangerous with all the 8 feet deep holes/tools/crap around. today when i came home there was a piece of yellow caution tape outside the site.

i called the city to complain.

There were some break-ins on Wayne Street last night between Jersey & Barrow. Please keep your eyes peeled and lock your windows!

i live on wayne street, and a couple of weeks ago my LL caught two men up on the fire escape trying to get into my window. make sure you lock your windows!

i've seen him often hanging around on church street near chambers, and around the grove street path. it's a toss up for me, whether the purple fur or leopard suit is my fave.

Conveniently, the Code does not have Chapter 332 Vehicles and Traffic online. But, you can get a printed edition from the City Clerk for $250.00! I'm sure you are allowed to go in and look at Chapter 332, because they can't make you pay to find out the law.

i'd like to add that some of the poop may be from stray cats.

there is a cat on my block that leaves some #2s that look bigger than any dog poop i've ever seen. She goes on the sidewalk and in the parking lot.

certainly that isn't always the case, because there are a lot of dog owner's not doing that part, but just something to keep in mind.

i tried the same thing this month with lowering the temperature. my bill was $345 :[

that sucks when you've been in an apartment for a few years, tried to be a good tenant, and then the landlord screws you anyway.

if you love the apartment, i'd consider speaking to a lawyer.

i was wondering if anyone has had window guards installed on their own and if so, who they put them in.

i want to have a few installed on my apartment windows to give myself a little piece of mind.

oh man, i walked by this weekend and thought about going in. With all these great reviews I think I'll stop by today.

i have bars on my windows that lead out to the fire escape, but they are the kind that have locks, so i keep the key nearby in case of emergency.

my favorite diner is the brownstone. i can't believe that happened there. i wonder who you talked to, because I can't imagine Bobby (the owner) doing that.
