Rented white padded folding chairs from Content Party Rentals a few weeks back and I was very satisfied. They're located in East Rutherford - 201-623-0400.

Is it possible there are no ex-offenders from Jersey City qualified for this position? Is the agency required to post this job and interview qualified candidates before making a hiring decision?

"He was sent back to prison for parole violations for his initial crime"

Come on - This is hideous and insulting to us all and is not doing any justice to ex-offenders serious about getting back on track.

Jersey City could do worse! McGreevey has been actively working to help rehabilitate prisoners and he seems to have found his true self. He's also very smart; great credentials.

My advice to Fulop, manage him well because his incredibly large ego might be more than you can handle.

Went for lunch yesterday with a group of 8 and everyone was blown away. The food was delicious, the hospitality was gracious. I called before hand to let them know that we only had 45 minutes to eat and they said no problem. Our table was set when we arrived and they got us in and out but we never felt rushed.

I can't wait to go back for dinner!

I used this link for a tree limb that was hanging after the hurricane with no luck. My request was closed 2x stating that the work was completed.

I finally asked a police officer what to do and he advised me to call the Division of Parks and Forestry. The limb was promptly removed the same day that I called.

While it irks me that they've treated home ownership and paying taxes with such abandon, I find that she's been very honest about past mistakes. The blog is a lesson in self discovery for Gabby and we're voyeurs looking into this train-wreck of a situation. Writing about the situation and coming clean to the world is saving Gabby and keeping her relevant in a situation that she doesn't have any control over.

I wish Gabby the best of luck!

Went last night with the husband and kids and we all enjoyed our meal. We had edamame, korean bbq, miso soup, chicken teriaki, chicken w/cashew and dessert. Service was good and the food was plentiful and fresh. We brought a bottle of wine and it was attended to immediately.

I'll be writing another letter to NJT requesting an end to the Bayonne Flyer - if they're cutting service this surely should be eliminated.

Re: Looking for thoughts and opinions on Princeton St and Winfield Ave.

I've been here for 7 years. I find that the neighborhood is much the same every night of the week - little pedestrian traffic and not many cars driving by. Since the area does have a suburban feel too it - mostly 1 and 2 family homes with large backyards most people tend to stay either on their front porch or in the backyard when it gets warm outside.

The only park I go to anywhere in Jersey City is liberty state - it's the best park in the state - playground, bike paths, views. I drive my car to the park but if there was a decent sidewalk or bike path on the road leading to the park - I'd ride my bike and be there in 10 minutes.

It's true that there a few families that have all out parties in the summer and the music gets really loud but it's not a every week-end occurance.

It is a working class neighborhood. I've heard that that there is a monthly neighborhood meeting over at the charter highschool on Old Bergen & Greenville Ave. I'm not sure if it's still active, but there is a website with neighborhood info www.garfield-danforth.com

Before I purchased my house - I made sure that I visited the neighborhood on both a Friday and Saturday night to see what was going on. I wanted to make sure that I felt safe going to my car and I do.

I own a home on Pearsall Ave & Princeton and we consider it to be a pretty safe neighborhood. The best thing about this neighborhood is that it is a quiet place to live and we have nice neighbors.

I was almost knocked unconscious on my ride in this morning by some woman who was overloaded with her bags and couldn't figure out how to hold all these bags, read a magazine and brace herself while the train did a high-speed side sweep in the tunnel. She either wasn't holding on or she lost her grip and her head smacked right into mine. Ouch!!

I tell my kids - who have excellent balance - to hold on tight in fear they might turn into a human cannon ball - I wish the adults would do the same.

As a Ward A voter, I will not vote for Michael Sottolano nor anyone he supports based on this vote. I for one believe that many people all over JC are concerned about what happens in downtown. To me a downtown should resemble the community of people who live in Jersey City. The plan that the council has approved it going to further isolate downtown further from the rest of JC.

I foresee that downtown will turn into a replica of river road in Edgewater. Which in my opinion is a complete catastrophe that I avoid at all costs. Big whoops -- now JC may finally get a whole foods!

Really though is there a solution? Is it possible to run the 33rd & WTC on separate tracks during rush hour?

Now that everyone has to crowd down the one staircase it's more apparent how unconsiderate some of the riders are. There's a guy that stands at the bottom of the staircase at Grove - right next to the pillar - with his briefcase on the floor - Everyone has to squeeze by him as he stands there reading his paper.

If you want to read more about other low cost alternativies check out this blog. http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com/

The important thing to know before picking out a frame is the size you'll need. The size is printed inside your frames.

About a month ago I bought two pairs from www.39glasses.com with polycarbonate lenses and the glasses are excellent. I didnt' even need to get them adjusted.

This is the best deli in Bayonne and the lines do get long. They have great sauce and the cold cuts are delicious. The Bayonne location is exceptionally clean and the staff is fast and courteous.

Good luck Buon Appetito!

I delivered my 2nd child at Christ Hospital. This was about 5 years ago and I had no problem at all. I had one nurse attending to me while I was laboring and she was wonderful. My doctor had requested I receive a private room after the delivery and that's what I got. The hospital was very clean, modern and my room was very sunny.

The only thing worth noting - and this may not be the case anymore - but the labor and delivery rooms are two separate rooms.

Telephone - (201) 795-0021

I also recommend Dr. Dina Began. She has a nice new office in Hoboken on Madison & 2nd but is no longer practicing in Jersey City.
