It is my first time dealing with commercial lease and does not have cited anything that I have to bill him. But, he terminated the lease on his own and moved everything out overnight.

Unfortunately, they do not take small cases like mine.

I rented a commercial space to a tenant who opened a pizza store without any permits. He was telling me that he is working on permits and had couple of issues with zoning. But, then he opened a pizza store and I assumed that he resolved all the issues. Then I got a fine of $2000 for him operating on a space without C/O and permits.
I closed on this house two days before we all went into lock down because of covid.

Does anyone knows a good lawyer that deals with municipal violations?

Did anyone go through the same situation??
Someone just freely dumped their bulky garbage on my bins and when sanitation came they summoned me with two violations. One is: 287-8H and second one is: 287-42A, both in one day. If anyone has any experience with the same situation, could you advise what to do??

PLEASE has anyone received ORDER TO PAY PENALTY AND ABATE VIOLATIONS by Fire Prevention Division?

I have bought a three family house in 2015 and the building has a Green Card, passed all the city and state inspection. I do not live in the building and have not checked for the mail in the last month. Today when I checked my mail, I was summoned with this thick envelope citing every kind of violations, from Smoke Detectors to Windowless Basement-Code Compliant Fire Suppression System Required? Has anyone gone through a similar experience? Did you appeal? What was the outcome?? Any experience is greatly experienced because I do not have the slightest clue why all of a sudden Jersey City is targeting homeowners with special inspection.
