Last City Council meeting an EV (electric vehicle) Zone was established in Jersey City - one of the first of its kind in the USA.

First St (between Marin and Provost) has a one-of-a-kind curbside EV charging hub with 19 spots for electric vehicles and EV car sharing via General Motors (Maven).
Through some of the Ordinances that will be heard next Wednesday, over half of these spots will be re-purposed, which will allow gas-powered vehicles to park as well.

With that said, we need the YOUR support to bring more electric vehicles and EV Zones to Jersey City - this can only be done by bringing in electric vehicle charging station infrastructure.
Today more than ever it is critical that we voice our opinions to promote and encourage reduction of greenhouse gas emissions!


Next Wednesday, June 28th at 6pm City Council is have a 2nd hearing as an opportunity for the public to speak up. If we come together to use our presence, voices & connections to let the city know the support for EVs in JC, we can be part of a movement that catapults the implementation of MORE EV stations, EV car sharing and EV ownership throughout JC.
