Calling all runners -- the TECCS Read Write Run 5K and 10K races are this Saturday, May 19, at Liberty State Park! Both races are on flat, fast courses with views of the NYC skyline. Registration starts at 7:30, with the 5K start at 8:25 and the 10K at 8:50. Kids races follow at 10:30, and there's a festival with food vendors and family-friendly activities from 9 to noon. Parents worked with the school to implement it, and now the school and FSA (Family School Association) provide funds for a chaperone to escort kids to the park.
