I did the survey, and put in random text for those fields. It would be a good idea to have that as an option though.

Phone number is not required. Name & email, however, are. We comply with all CAN-SPAM laws and you can unsubscribe from any emails - which we only send intermittently - at any time.

How do you feel about Traffic Safety in JC? We want to know!

Safe Streets JC is a new grassroots organization focused on improving Traffic Safety in Jersey City, city-wide. We'd like to know what Traffic Safety concerns our fellow residents have. Please take our new survey here:
tinyurl.com/SSJC-Survey1701.

We had a successful meeting with Mayor Fulop & Director Shea last month wherein they committed to launching - and they have since done so - a traffic safety unit within the JCPD. They will be expanding this unit and its ability to work citywide, and they committed to our next public meeting with them in March.

On Sat. Feb 18th, from 10:30-12:30pm, we'll be having a community meeting to brainstorm resident traffic issues and priorities in preparation for the March meeting. This will be held at Grace Van Vorst Church, on 2nd st. Everyone is welcome to attend and share ideas and concerns.

In the meantime - please take our quick survey. You can also join our Facebook group to trade ideas and note issues of concern.

We look forward to your participation!
