I haven't taught in NYC, but I do teach and live in JCPS. Kids and teachers are great at my school. Quite a few of live locally. Admins though are thugs. And racist. It's an open secret that if you're not of a certain skin color (and no, it's not white), admins can and will make life difficult for you.
