I'm a lawyer in NYC but a colleague of mine does closings in NJ. I'm using him for my own condo purchase.

Send me a private message if you want his info.

Any info on 131 Kensington?

Hi, my wife and I are thinking about putting in an offer on a condo at 131 Kensington. We love the place, but it doesn't have a washer/dryer in unit, just coin-op in the basement (which we hate).

I read the building by-laws and reviewed the master deed, which is silent on the issue other than saying you need board approval for improvements, alterations, etc...

I've been trying to contact the Condo Association on the phone number they have, but to no avail.

So I suppose I'm wondering if anyone lives there and knows if the board has a policy about w/d or whether anyone knows the name of the head of the board so I can reach out personally.

Buying a place in JC is becoming damn near impossible, we've already lost out on two places to all-cash investors (out of a total of five we've lost out on). We would not like to let one more slip out of our grasp, but washer/dryer is a must.

Anyone have any info?

Thanks
