The water goes out the same drain pipe as your washer.
It condensates in the machine and is pumped out.

We have the Bosch 800 series and they are great! The dryer is ventless and saved us money during renovation because we didn't need to vent to the outside. Bosch IMHO is the brand to go with, probably more expensive but you get what you pay for.

When you search for a Supercharger, Tesla gives info about what shops and restaurants are near the charger. This helps local business and makes a destination more desirable for EV owners.
Unknown the amount of income coming in but will it help the local businesses but someone charging will know where to go shop and get a bite to eat while waiting.

A win win in my book.

There are a bunch of Tesla SuperChargers being installed on the first floor of the Newport Mall parking lot. Hopefully up and working soon.

Pretty sure its not a Tesla Supercharger, I'll go by and look but according to the Tesla Map and the dealership in Paramus, Tesla is installing in JC official Tesla Superchargers sometime by the end of this year. Rumor is the parking lot at Target that has the room for a bunch of them.

I have put down a deposit on a Tesla 3 after being involved with the rollout in Fremont, Ca last week. I have 18 months to figure out charging. I would pay for the installation of a charging station in my area of Bergen Hill. Since there is power at the top every Utility Pole, the development of a location is pretty easy. I am in the process of talking to the City. Tesla is also announcing the location of a Supercharger (charges a Tesla to a full charge in under 30 min) by the end of this year.

I live south of Montgomery and think its odd that would be any kind of a line. I would think of Communipaw as a line. Mr Morgan should start taking some walks around his neighborhood and see all the changes coming.

It's a 10 min walk to the Path at a fast pace or take one of the 2 or more bus routes. Also, Citibike has 2 stations in the area.

Yes, I bought my place for 325k.

Does anyone know if I do further renovations that pull permits, will this continue to raise my taxes? I'm going to redo my backyard with new fencing and some new electrical and such.

My place was renovated (2014) before I moved in and the city came in and reassessed the place and my taxes went from 3800 to about 6000. Does this mean my place is now fully revised for property taxes and if and when this city wide tax reval. happens, I will probably will get my taxes decreased? Most of my neighbors are paying 3500 to 4000 per year.

The ACME in Hoboken doesn't sell liquor like the A and P did. Lots of people confused and pissed on Sunday looking to buy beer before the football games. First World Problems, lol.

I went to the one by the best buy and it was ok. Not great, not bad. Just a typical grocery store. I like Shop Rite over A and P.

Will keep giving them a chance over the next year or so. The prices seemed higher in some places, but lower in others. And the vegetarian inventory in the frozen section was a little better then A and P. But thats about the only highlight. It was fine.

Check out Carvao BBQ restaurant and bar near McKinley Square. Just opened. Area definitely needs work, but if your not getting into that area now, couple years from now will be too late.

Monticello ave, McKinley Sq., etc is crap right now, but there is already signs of new renovations of new businesses.

Try:

Hauptman Floor Covering Co
307 Central Ave
Jersey City, NJ 07307
Phone: (201) 659-5195
Fax: (201) 659-7535

I have gotten new floors installed by them and they do great work. I would think they would or know who to call for repairs.

Good Luck.

I moved into the area but little further away on Astor Place. I work late sometimes and when using the PATH, I will get off at Grove and call an Uber. Its the same price home from Grove or JSQ ($5) and is quicker and easier to get one at Grove St. I would use the 87 at JSQ but after a certain hour, it gets longer and longer between buses.

I moved twice last year in Jersey City and called them, gave a credit card and they posted them. Both times I had cars in the way. I called the same number and they sent a guy down who ran the plates and called owners to get them moved.

Call JC Parking Authority (201) 653-6969.

They take credit cards over the phone and they will put the signs out 24-48 hours before your moving day. I think its $25.

Good Luck.

If there was one near Astor Place, I would have already signed up. I was dreaming of being able to commute to Path, then use it again in NYC. Oh well, hopefully they will change it and add as they go.

I agree with jclistforum that the idea that tax abatements are not all bad. I lived in a tax abated condo and paid 360k in 2005. My taxes where $5800 per year. 1.6% of purchase price and 20 year abatement. Sold in 2014 for 425K. That new owner is now paying more in taxes because its based on the purchase price.

Also, the PILOT starts to rise after year 10 in order to slowly creep up to where it should be without the abatement. At least that was the deal at my old condo building.

In 2014 I moved to another part of JC and everyone around me is paying 3k to 4k a month in taxes and some of my neighbors are upset about a new condo project nearby that has an abatement. Those new condos (which has said will be market rate) will be paying more in taxes then most people in the area.

I found this which says in 1991 it was deemed a state designation. Updated 2015. Nothing on being historic and then being removed.

I walk to the Path from Astor Place in 20 min, but most days I take the 87 bus that I can get on Astor and Monticello. It runs every 10 min. I have gotten from Astor Place to Rock Center in about 40 min. Late at night, I take Uber home because the Taxis at JSQ are horrible. Would take the bus but it drops to 30 to 40 min after 10.
