It's very, very good (and affordable).

I went to a JC Fablab open house and saw their 3D printer / sample objects; the quality does not seem very good.

They're probably hoping the view would be the attraction (and it IS a great view from there). But it's Dixon, so maybe they're just experimenting to see if there is a market for this type of rental there (they can probably afford to wait it out a bit and re-evaluate if needed).

I'm not defending her/think it is ridiculous BUT take offense to 'Perhaps the fact that the "artist & writer" is free to meet a journalist for coffee in the middle of a workday might have something to do with the fact she can't afford to live here anymore. Get a job.'

Many, many people in Jersey City fully support themselves (some in creative fields!) without working within the typical 'workday'!

Here's the criteria they used:

"We first decided to only look at cities with over 50,000 people that also had a high population of people between the ages of 20 and 34. Then we looked at the cities with a fairly educated population (a high percentage of residents with at least a Bachelor?s Degree), many cafes and yoga studios. We calculated a composite score for each city by multiplying the number of yoga studios per 10K people with cafes per 10K people, and used this final number to rank the cities."

If you generally use the 87 to get to/from the PATH in Hoboken, another option is to take a jitney to/from Journal Square. The PATH train ride is longer, but the jitneys run very very frequently.

I went to the Two Boots website to try to email the owner, and saw that JClist is credited as doing the 'web design'? (not that it's really that 'designed'...). Interesting. I hope there's no conflict of interest (posts getting deleted, etc)
