certificate of insurance needed but using uhaul to move

Hi,

I am moving to a condo this month and I just found out from the property management that they need to obtain a certificate of insurance from the moving company. The thing is I am only using u-haul to move my stuff and Im not sure if any of their insurance (eg. Safemove Plus) is equivalent to what they are asking.

Will that be sufficient or do i need to obtain an additional insurance?

Thanks for all the responses !!!

Im moving right by Pavonia Ave and Erie St

Got more questions based on your responses...and I'd like to apologize in advance if my questions sound dumb

1. Is the no parking sign only for the truck? If so, where can I park my car if I dont have a permit yet... or should I get the parking permit as well when I get the signs?

2. should I purchase one sign per truck or should I get two to put on each end of the space that I want to reserve?

3. If im putting the sign in advance, will the it say the time/date im reserving the spot?

Sorry but Im totally ignorant about this.

I was actually planning on arriving the night before the move in day. So if I need to purchase and put it in advance, I'd probably have to ask someone I know to do it for me, unless I can purchase it over the phone and see if they can hang them for me

I'm currently in Michigan and I'm moving to Hamilton Park next month. I don't have a parking permit yet and I am not yet familiar with the rules in terms of parking just to unload my stuff to the apartment and I was hoping anyone could help me get familiar with things that I need to do to reserve parking area/spot (e.g. no parking signs) for 1 car and one moving truck.

I did send an email to JC Parking Authority but no response yet.

I appreciate all the help I can get :)

two things:

HGTV has a magazine?

did anyone else know about the rooftop shipping container? he mentions in the article that the zoning commissioner laughed at him. what (or what amount) silenced the chuckles?

Thanks! I actually tried calling them earlier and I was quite surprised that their mailbox is full. ...either its not regularly monitored or people are going crazy about this property.lol

nonetheless, I left a message through their website and hopefully I hear from them soon

From the Mid West and moving to JC around April - May and I was wondering if you know any apartment building that is expected to open by then at either the Paulus Hook or Hamilton Park Area.

It seems that the newer/newly built apartments are already getting fully occupied (at least for 1br/1ba) and Im having a hard time digging over the internet on what apartment complexes are about to open soon.

I hope the JC locals have the 1st hand scoop on this.

Thanks!

When you say "open" are you looking to rent or buy? If I were you I'd want to rent in the area first, to familiarize yourself before making such a big investment.

If you are looking to rent, a lot of the buildings do not know this far advance what will be available April/May. I'd check back with them a month or 2 before you move.

My 2 cents.

I assume that 'apartments' are for rent and condos are for sale (unless individual owner wants to lease it)

I'll be more specific with my topic... thanks!

edt: oops i didnt realize there's a time limit to edit something... oh well
