Yes, wasn't the store also called "Goldy's"? The female proprietor was short with white hair. I 'm vague on the A&P, think it was next to the Orient movie house.
Yes, it was George's Bakery. The cupcakes with the small toys...toy rings? Thanks for jarring my memory!
Also, the small Public Library opposite the candy store.
The laundromat, recall the clean smell of clothes washing, lots of bleach tho.
The Myrtle Tavern, then next corner of Bostwick Ave was Flaherty's Tavern. More when I can...

Old Lady of Sorrow RC Church and Grammar School
Goldsteins Candy Store on corner of Ocean & Claremont
Orient Movie Theatre (popcorn machine self despensing for 10 cents)
A&P Store
Lakes Meat Market
Adams Candy Store
Drug Store on corner of Grant Ave & Ocean
P.S. 29 Kindergarten to the 4th grade
Four or 5 piece band that played on Claremont Ave in the summer
Playground on corner of Claremont Ave and Arlington Ave
Water trucks spraying Ocean Ave
Coal truck and Ice man deliveries...I could go on...
