Education is perfectly running along. Our ghettos R training the next fear troops. Let the world fear our soldiers who listen to the music what makes them violent who train in the bloofy institutions of learning survive! In the great war coming they kill the civilians not with the rifle but their old weapons of youth the boxcutter the machette. They give chance to unarmed civilian and good sport. The darl forces gather they have our childs now. They have the army in our school house already no? I see them wearing the uniforms of those who kell for the masters. Thank yo for taking childs teach them wel to viktorius! Our techno, our seels, our ghetto solder, we can't loose!

Today in Jersey City Public Schools students? education was interrupted for the 7th time to take tests whose only purpose is to help standardized test companies make better tests. Unfortunately testing season comes at the most crucial time of the student/teacher education process when capstone projects are being worked on and a year?s worth of skills are being demonstrated and solidified. This question was not on any of the tests but is equally ridiculous.

76. Which is least likely to happen:

A)Marcia Lyles will spend more than five years running Jersey City Public Schools before taking a job earned through political connections at Amplify with old buddies Christopher Cerf and Joel Klein

B)Marcia Lyles will embrace the platitude ?safety first? and make student safety her first priority as Superintendent

C)Through degradation of the workforce, absurd new paper trails that are implemented poorly, and paying teachers less
Jersey City?s schools improve drastically, and you are suddenly able to sell your condo for more than you paid for it

D)None of the above. None of these will ever happen.

School violence is not important.

Getting a handle on the burgeoning kiddie porn industry that has sprung up in schools is more important at least based on the front page of the Jersey Journal today

Dickinson Students Create Sex Tape, "doesn't meet expectations" says District Spokeswoman

If it doesn't meet Maryann Dickar 's expectations I bet she already has a detailed paperwork trail for it.

without sarcasm: safety and violence should be the top priority of every educator

Re: Nearly 200 water fountains in Jersey City schools contain lead above fed standards

This is a serious issue. Lead has been linked to severe developmental delays and even violent behavior. It is my understanding that many schools solution is NOT to turn off sinks and fountains but instead run them constantly (I guess to dilute them). Students and families are NOT BEING WARNED.

Super Lyles: Not even going to comment on this? Can you stop focusing on serving your WALL STREET PUPPETEERS long enough to make sure the kids water isn't poisoned with something THAT IS ESPECIALLY POISONOUS TO CHILDREN.

Little known fact: I got this crazy from lead poisoning.

SEAN CONNORS is moving up to bigger and better things...rewarded for his CRONY UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR.

REMEMBER WHEN DETECTIVE SEAN CONNORS PUBLICLY ENDORSED CONVICTED FELON GERALD MCANN FOR THE SCHOOL BOARD?

Only in Jersey City can a police officer who publicly endorses a convicted felon for SCHOOL BOARD improve his political career.

What has convicted felon Gerry McCann been up to lately ... ?Probably a good idea to keep some light on him. I really hope that the Board of Ed has taken some measures to insure that convicted felon is not allowed to run for the school board again.

My favorite part of this whole line of reasoning is the "teachers have it better then the middle class private sector. Their lives should suck like mine do"

how about saying "why don't I have it good like teachers do"?
This is they best country in the world. We should all have the ability to take care of our family health, spend some time with our family, etc.

Millionaires all have these things. They became that way because they chose greed. Teachers got what the did because they chose a career that could help children.

Instead of saying "their life should suck like mine."
you should be saying my life should be good like theirs".

Millionaires were the ones who caused the economic depression with their subprime shananigans so why shouldn't there be a millionaires tax? They caused the problem!

Talk about tenure? The CEOs kept their jobs after getting bailed out by OUR tax dollars because if they were fired it would "destabilize the economy further".

I'll give it to the NJ GOP in that their political psychology is genius. Make all the unemployed and struggling citizens feel empowered by feeling like the bosses of the teachers. They can deny them a living just like they have been denied. But again it was the millionaires who denied them the living and handed them a very conveinent scapegoat.

What happened to screaming about all those tax dollars going to a war that we admitted was waged for false reasons. Those tax dollars are not only wasted they are killing people.

Middle and lower class republicans are such a funny thing.

you know you're in the endtimes
when the sign of the beast
is what's signing the lease
and you be dining on grease
we need minds to increase
thats what rhyming release
pure light pure light

sometimes I almost can't stand it
the havoc of this planet is so graphic when i glance at it
destroyed by the power hungry's crack habit
global corporations hand crafted with black magic
but i guess you have to sleep before you can be awake
and night proceeds the day
so i'm trying to help this fever break
the truth is all that i relate
speaking as a friend to my countrymen the enemy's the state
