Lol, thanks for the tips. I like the location too. The house is right on the corner of 3rd St and Manila Ave cross. So only 1 block away from Shoprite.

I've heard the crazy race game happened on Manila Ave. As there is a paving going on the Manila Ave, I guess things could get worse:(

Thank you all. The location is good, just 1 block from Shoprite, 3 blocks from Grove St path. Without safety issue, it's pretty much the suitable place for us:)

Hi, everyone. My wife and I are planning to move to downtown jersey city. We find a room in Manila Ave at 3rd St. It's close to Shoprite and Newport Mall.

However, there are low incoming housing just on the opposite side of Manila Ave. I've found out that it's a government project, a total of 48 low-income units from 400 to 432 Manila Ave.

As we will go to grove street path everyday, maybe Newport Mall on the weekend, could anyone tell me if Manila Ave area safe?
