Renovated house in the Heights asking for $20k/month rent!

Is this a joke? There's a rental listing asking $20k/month for a renovated house on Ogden Ave - it's technically closer to $18k since they're offering one month free, but still. Zillow indicates the current owner paid $515k for it in 2012. The owner can't possibly think anyone will rent at this price, seems crazy to me!

i'm super excited to hear this club is opening - i'm a huge house/techno fan and am constantly commuting to brooklyn for events. it will be great to have somewhere local to hear the music and dance. my favorite venues in brooklyn (output, verboten) put the emphasis on the music, have quality sound systems, and are inclusive of a diverse crowd (no bottle service, dress code, etc) - if club transmission follows the same idea, i think it will be a great addition to the downtown community.

PA Home Store, but they are not local - they are in the Philadelphia area, near my investment properties.

I am a real estate investor - I've used Fabuwood multiple times in the past. Their cabinets are Chinese import, however with that said, they are some of the best quality Chinese import cabinets you can find. They have entry level lines for rentals etc, as well as higher end lines for home owners. They are not the cheapest cabinets you can find, but the quality matches the price. They've even started doing custom glazing and coloring for a more custom look. I'm fairly certain they don't sell to the public, you have to go through a dealer. Hope this helps!

there's a sign in the window with the business name and details - open til 2am, 22 tvs, coffee, pastries, tacos, ribs.. a long list, i'll take a photo next time i walk by. it's such a prime location but judging by the details it seems like it will end up being a mess like the bistro :-/

not to mention... ribs, wings, and tacos at a coffee shop? seems a bit odd. looks like the identity crisis at the bistro will be carrying over...
