Goodbye Jersey City! We've lived here for three years and are finally moving into Manhattan. While strides have been made, unfortunately JC is still "up and coming".
I will miss: Taquaria (although we have LES) Thirty Acres (amazing, but snobby) Razza (simply amazing) That is all. -Dora

Why would the NYT write about the Jersey City election? Its a different city, in a different state, with less than 3% of the NYC population. Jersey City is inconsequential.

Has anyone noticed the tacos have gotten smaller?? Wonder if they thought, after being closed for six months, their customers wouldn't notice.
Still delicious however.

Talk about a train wreck of a re-opening. I think they decided to do new employee training tonight!
Also amazing the pent up demand for tacos. Obviously there is a strong market for this stuff.

I called their LES location two weeks ago and they said it would open within 1-2 weeks.
I called their LES location again earlier this week and they said they had no idea, the owner kept saying it was going to open and then it doesn't, but "give it another month or so." I think I've counted at least three false starts now. Way to run a business!
