50 Columbus Parking RATE HIKE vs Service DIVE!
#3

Can anyone tell me why rates are going up AGAIN in this building.

As far as I can tell if I am going to pay more I should be getting something in return.
For each of the rental increases perhaps the garage could have been hosed down once for each of the times the rent has increased.

The parking garage continuously has..

1. Garbage cans filled to the brim
2. Floors that look like Pompeii after Mt. Vesuvius erupted.
3. Buttons on the elevator that do not work.

I have refrained from complaining about this but enough is enough.

I want this on record with the building and I will alert the garage management also.

I am going to put up flyers informing people to find this blog and sign a petition of complaint. I also think all reserved spot patrons should reject there reserved spots, (myself included)
The 50$ they will loose from the majority certainly offsets the $15 they will get from the increase.

Provide your:
Name, Apt #, and reserved space # if you have.

You silly fools.

Whoever spoke to the parks department must have used a cup and string. It's pretty plain to see that the trees right in front of Dixon are not being cut down, in fact the contractors are working hard (it seems) to work around the existing trees.

I spoke with Steven Fulop, emailed him this string and he has responded somewhat. I believe he has contacted the parks department.

Club H is included in the rent of the building.

I would hardly look at it that $500 covers a membership.
Its more intelligent to think of the deal that has been struck as a corporate membership. Many companies pay for employees to use a facility in a certain building if it is located where the company is, or if not subsidize it....

Really come on now. Nothing is that cheap.

50 Columbus and Applied Rip Off Fees

What does 50 Columbus mean to its tenants?

Great Views? Maybe
Good Location for commuters? Sure
How about the chance to rip off its tenants at any length Possible?

DEFINITELY!!!!

Lets list a few.

1. Amenities fee $500. Now what could be deemed as necessary since
there is a concierge service, I have compared the services provided to
those at another building. Liberty Towers offers concierge service and
when I think concierge there building comes close to the actual
meaning.

Holding doors, Actually assisting with packages. All not done as it is
in other "high class" buildings. What is this fee going too?

2. I recently decided to get my pool pass for my buildings pool. Aside
from leaning that I needed a pass, which seemed extreme, I learned
that the building forces you to purchase a guest pass with the limit
of 4 for $10 each.

I realize that limiting the number of guests at any one time might be
in the other tenants best interest, but to capitilize on having
friends visit is a shame and it's just sad that this money making
scheme would even be considered.

The logic of the quick buck is definitely at work here and I guarantee
that as the word spreads about the shady practices employed by this
building and its management tenants will not be so quick to renew
leases.

Out of the new Newark Ave restaurant's..

This is my personal favorite! The menu is creative, eclectic and offers something that is delicious and unique and stands apart from just your usual Americana type place.

Its rare to dine in a facility and have each of the courses be better than the next. Not one complaint.

Aside from the food, the restaurant's decor sets it apart from the outside world of Newark Ave.

Fantastic!
