Quick visual update on one of my favorite neighborhood mystery properties, otherwise known on this board as your future Whole Foods Outlet below:
Clearly work is progressing and yet no one seems to know what to expect (same goes for the adjoined dilapidated townhouse)...

I get the snarky/witty comments, almost laughed from a few...

Interesting front patio potential given the large setback, decent-sized interior for whatever retail/service/shop would be coming in.

Being sited on a prominent corner that is directly across the street from a large school, a large residential/mixed-use building, and is footsteps to Hamilton Park, makes me think a lot of people would want to know...

The former dry cleaning store and its connected 1st floor of the adjacent townhouse is fully gutted. The shop is now an empty shell ready for renovation.

Anyone know what the plan is/who the future tenant is?

Here is a shot from last week, revealing the faded vintage dry cleaning sign. Further work has taken place since, and that sign was removed along with the dumpster...

Nowhere near as ambitious or compelling or dynamic, but this (final?) proposal should prove to be a solid building if actually ever constructed. Latest rendering from Silverman Bro's Site below:
