I heard the coffee shop is owned by the Bistro next door. Yes,
that restaurant at the Grove St station with the neon digital sign
by the restaurant sign.

I have been to Left Bank numerous times now, and I can
say that it's a super neighborhood joint. It's not a super
gourmet burger, but it's good, the prices are very reasonable,
and you can always get a decent hamburger, chicken sandwich,
lamb burger. I'm glad they are in the neighborhood and hope
they continue to succeed.

I was at V38 restaurant 2 nights ago and 2 buses with the
Seahawks pulled up next to the Westin. State troopers
everywhere, homeland security trailer there, watch out post
there. You'd think these players were leaders of the world
or something.

I know this place is trying, and guy in local liquor store highly recommended it, but I've tried the food twice now and both times it just didn't do it for me. I'm not going to blast the restaurant at this point because I really hope a local spot can make it, so please -- step up the freshness and flavor and don't get complacent.

Accidents at 2nd & Jersey in Downtown

Not too shy to talk

Hi, I am a resident who lives on 2nd right off of Jersey Avenue. In the past 4 weeks there have been at least 4 car crashes at this intersection, and there have been numerous others in the past 7 years I have lived here. Tonight yet another, so I ask, what about a STOP sign or what other solution????

The couple in the cart - and the other characters downtown. I can only hope that Fulop and his team addresses the issue because it seems to me that the cops and authorities are used to the individuals downtown, sometimes talk to them and most of the time ignore them.

I know they can't get help if they won't accept it. I feel so awful when I see them, especially the woman in the cart as she is apparently very very sick and bruised. I heard she got sober for 3 months over the winter and when she left rehab, she was right back to the streets.

Really not sure what the solution is here.

I had to skim over all the posts in between. I am a dog owner in DTJC and I agree with your concerns. I think if you make the commitment to have a dog, you should respect the laws and respect others in the community.

I'm sure this has been addressed as this thread has been going on for a while, but the corner of Jersey & Newark by the Optician / Crepe/Cookie shop seems like a veritable stolen bike shop now. I couldn't get over how many bikes were over there last weekend.
